Challenge
It took just 6 months from breaking ground to moving in. The family home had to be ready for occupancy within 6 months because of the fact that the apartment had been given notice.
From floor insulation to flat roof slope insulation to screed and exposed screed, a project with ideal insulation throughout. It was important to the family that the work was free of harmful substances, good for the environment and of high quality.

Construction process
The height restriction in the development plan meant that every centimetre had to be saved. A thinner screed, high-quality insulation with a low height in the interior as well as on the roof were fundamental requirements for this project. Water and power lines had to be levelled out. The open interior construction method meant that the screed had to cover large areas without any joints or seams. The floor and skirting boards were laid as quickly as possible, in spite of the extremely short drying times, thermotec® delivered a great job – no cracks, no gaps, everything the way a client could wish for.
